Backpacks for School
The Starfish Backpack Program provides backpacks and new school supplies to Readington Township children whose families are struggling to make ends meet and must make difficult financial decisions when meeting their families’ basic needs and expenses. It is our hope that this support enables students to take advantage of the educational opportunities available to them and to achieve the goal of obtaining a good education.
If you are a family in need, please contact the Readington Township Social Service Office at 908-534-0974 to sign up for the program.
You may assist with this worthy endeavor by donating school supplies through August 15, 2022. Donations may be dropped off at the Municipal Building between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (Donation box located outside of the Social Service Office).
