BACKPACKS FOR SCHOOL

The Backpack Program in Readington Township provides backpacks and new school supplies to children of local families who are struggling to make ends meet and must make difficult financial decisions when meeting their families basic need expenses such as food, shelter, transportation, clothing and health care.

It is our hope that this support enables students to take advantage of the educational opportunities available to them and to achieve the goal of obtaining a good education.

Join us in this worthy endeavor by donating school supplies for needy Township students through Monday, August 20, 2018. Donations may be dropped off at the Social Services office (room 116) in the Municipal Building, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. For questions, or more information, call 534-0974.
